Our Mission
PsychCoworking exists to support the mental health workforce by providing inclusive, accessible co-working space—called Parallel Work —designed to reduce isolation, boost focus, and promote sustainable productivity.
Our Vision
We envision a future where mental health professionals at every stage—student, pre-licensed, and fully licensed—have the tools, and support they need to flourish. Through intentional co-working, we aim to transform how helpers take care of themselves, their work, and their well-being.
About PsychCoworking
PsychCoworking was founded by Dr. Erica Ligons, PsyD, a clinical psychologist and EPPP coach, who is passionate about helping mental health professionals stay focused, supported, and connected. In 2024, we launched what we call Parallel Work — sessions virtual co-working spaces originally designed to help our Crush That Exam clients stay on track with studying. We quickly discovered that these sessions were just as helpful for graduate students juggling coursework and dissertations, and for fully licensed professionals trying to keep up with documentation and other admin tasks.
In early 2025, PsychCoworking was officially established as the brand home for these Parallel Work sessions. While the name has evolved, the heart of what we do remains the same: providing structure, accountability, and a sense of community through intentional, supportive co-working.
As a neurodivergent psychologist clinician, Dr. Ligons created these sessions with accessibility in mind—particularly for those with ADHD, anxiety, and executive functioning challenges. But Parallel Work sessions are for everyone. Whether you’re neurodivergent or neurotypical, everyone can benefit from working alongside others who just get it. Because in a profession where we give so much, you deserve to be supported too.
